Apolakkia – Rhodes A place worth-seeing on Island Rhodes, Greece

Rhodes Island has a diminutive and peaceful tourist attraction named, Apolakkia, located at a distance of 92-km from Rhodes city. Being close to Lindos, it can be reached by following the Gennadi to Vati highway. The village seems like if it is developed inside a ditch. If you believe a myth, then the name means ditch for the Greek word lakos.

Apolakkia Beach:
With 3500 meters of height, Apolakkia or Limni beach has a width of 35 meters. This prominent beach gets crowded in summer season. Get along the way going downwards from Apolakkia to Kattavia if you wish to reach this beach. You are also advised to follow the signs. You can have a shower along with a parking area. No other services are available here.
